The carpets Kazak are being woven by Semi-Nomads, who live on the mountains in the center of Caucasus. They are named after the city with the same name (Kazak), which is a commercial center of the region.
Their main colors are red, blue, yellow, green and ecru. Their motifs are geometric. Stars, squares and cross are their common motifs, with medallion or repeated motifs. Their pile and warp is woolen and they have a quiet thin weaving.
